Raise3D N2 Dual
The Raise3D N2 gives users the opportunity to make their biggest ideas become a reality, with a build surface of 305 x 305 x 305 mm the sky is the limit!
Please note: due to the large size of this 3D printer, we ship this machine on a pallet, so shipping usually takes 1 to 2 working days instead of our usual 24 hours.
The Raise3D N2 Dual is the first affordable large format dual extruder 3D printer on the market.
With a build surface of no less than 305 x 305 x 305 mm, the Raise3D N2 Dual is suitable for even the largest 3D prints.
The Raise3D N2 uses 2 print heads and through the use of a full metal hot-end and a complete enclosed build chamber, the machine can handle a variety of materials such as:
- PA (Nylon)
Because the Raise3D N2 Plus uses a full metal hot-end, some PLA filaments are sometimes harder to print, that's why we recommend using composite materials.
A good filament brand in combination with the Raise3D N2 Dual is the Pro1 filament from Innofil3D and Polymaker's PolyMax. This is also the brand with which Raise3D itself tests its 3D printers.
Although the 3D printer can easily handle filaments such as ABS and a PolyCarbonate, large prints with these materials can remain more challenging than small prints.
This is because these filaments react strongly to temperature changes.
If you make use of the entire building surface it is advised to opt for PLA filament to ensure perfect print quality.
The Raise3D N2 Dual is an open-source machine and can therefore be controlled with various types of slicers. Raise3D gives its users the possibility to use their own slicer, IdeaMaker. This allows you to fine-tune all possible settings in order to streamline and optimize your prints in this way.
Ease of use:
The Raise3D N2 Dual is very easy to use because the machine has a 7" full color touchscreen on which the print progress can be tracked in real time.
It is also possible to pause the device so that filament can easily be changed or refilled and in the event of a technical malfunction the N2 Dual saves its positions so prints can be resumed afterwards.
The Raise3D N2 Dual gives users the possibility to start their prints via WiFi, LAN, USB and SD connection so it is easy to integrate in any environment.
The heated bed achieves a temperature of 110 ° C so that the Raise3D N2 Dual can handle almost any material. Especially materials like ABS and PC benefit from higher bed temperatures so there is as little warping as possible.
